In December of 2022 Brad and Lydia met on a Catholic young adult retreat at the Community of St. John in Princeville, IL. Neither thought much of this first meeting and in fact, Lydia thought it might be a good idea to set Brad up with one of her friends. However, after several months with the chance to see each other at other young adult events in Peoria and the Quad Cities, Brad asked Lydia to go on a date. After prayerful consideration Lydia agreed and the two started dating on June 19th, 2023.

Since then the two have grown stronger together in their relationship through love, support, trust, and the grace of God. Both Brad and Lydia value their personal relationships with God and know that when pursuing Him together they will grow closer and stronger as a married couple. They were engaged on March 23rd, 2024 and are excited to join together in holy matrimony on January 3rd, 2025. After the wedding they will be making a home together in Peoria, IL.
